Hi, thanks very much for the reply. Sounds logical. Where would be the best place to get this looked at? A local car audio shop? (Am in LondonO Or is there a high street alternative? thnx |

Hey,
I think that it is just connected wrong.
There is a orange/white wire for the illumination lead, and it should be connected to the power from your ignition. (I think that the wire from the ignition normaly is the red wire.)
The way you say, I think it is connected directly to the battery.
Good luck |

|
I have just bought a car which has a standard basic Blaupunkt cassette radio (can't see a model number on the outside of the unit). It has a red/orange background LED light, which constantly stays on, even when I turn the radio off, or switch the ignition off. Any ideas if this is a common fault, and how it can be fixed cheaply? |
