Hi,

I now have the 400HT, and can report that it does accept an audio input - either via the input scart socket, or there's also a digital audio input.

If anyone's interested, the unit's pretty good, especially for the price. To get decent audio quality, I swapped the supplied front speakers for some theoretically mismatched (8ohm, 50W instead of 4ohm, 15W) ones that seem to be working fine. DVD playback, CD playback, DAB radio and external source all seem excellent - I was actually quite surprised as I only got it as an interim solution following my ancient technics setup biting the dust.

Hi, does anyone know if the Wharfedale 400HT DVD Player with Home Cinema System and DAB (sold by Argos) has an audio input?

Basically I'm wondering if I'd be able to take the stereo output from my video and use the Wharfedale as the amplifier.

Thanks!
