you can get a servie manual for one of these for £1.49 from user-guides.co.uk it will show you how to remove the keyboard |

Maybe there is a screw on the bottom or maybe just clips on the top.
Have a look underneath, if there is a little picture of a keyboard near a screw near the centre, unscrew it.
Look near the top of the keyboard for clips or maybe a removable escutcheon panel.
Find the service manual and it will tell you all you need to know.  |

I need to replace the keyboard on my dell 8500 and I already have the keyboard but do not know where to start in taking off the old one. It looks like a place for a screwdriver on the left side but I am afraid to just start prying, please if anyone knows please let me know! Thanks so much in advance. |
