TRY THIS / allelectronics.com / they sell bare switching supplies and see if have one that fits inside and have the voltages needed. otherwise sometimes the same power transformer works with some resistors changes but try to look on a service manual. or change the small transformer if you know how to work on swith power supplies / have many spares around but not from yamaha sources so giv eme the voltages and maybe as picture and the size of the power supply. i do same with one old dvd that have none longer replacemants and do changes to make it work with a current productiuon model from other cheap discarted DVD. | Hoping someone can help. I have a nearly new DVD player and I am relocating overseas, but I need to get a 120 60Hz power supply for a Yamaha DVD-S550. The 240 is made by Mitsumi and I know that there is a US model...just need help locating a power supply. HELP! | |
