Thanks! | Hi Mo, sounds like your amp is in protection/shutdown mode. Probably due to a shorted or otherwise defective output transistor or transistors. The clicking you heard was a relay conneting the speakers to the out put of the amp. If the protection circuit sees any voltage on the output leads it will not connect to the speakers. The votage it sees is caused by the failure in the output satge. I hope this helps. Finding the bad components may be beyond your fix. Curious1 |
