usually at first you can set up a reasonable picture using the service menu but you are just delaying the inevitable what usually happens is the the screen will flood with one colour usually red then trip

its as if black has been replaced with a dull green colour when its a bright scene everything looks fine but as soon as its a dark room or something its more green than black Sad

no chance! Sad is that all it could be is it not maybee just to do with the colour and brightness settings when i change them it looks a little better??

YES, BUT IN THE UK THE CRT IS £267+VAT TRADE, IS IT WORTH IT???

bad news!!! that television is fitted with a philips crt that is very prone to failure, most grey scale faults will probably turn out tto be the crt i have scrapped at least a dozen of those sets for the exact same fault.

Right guys this has been doing my head in Shocked no matter what i seem to adjust my settings too my television picture seems to look very green especialy in dark scenes any suggestions??? Idea
