green tint isnt too bad, but look bad on skin tones. Picture is watchable for now. Looks like I may have to go for a newer LCD HD telly then.
Just would have liked to wait a bit more for the prices to come down.

unfortunately the symptoms are perfect for crt failure, set would req new one, would be too expensive .

fairly old Sony tv, but and still going strong, except the picture is now a tint too green. The tint control in the menu option picture control doesnt work, as I think that is for ntsc anyway.

Is there an easy way to correct the tint?
Service mode?

or is it a trip to the repair shop. Not that there is one around here.
