 you need to remove the shield on the bottom of the tuner section. if you still have the broken rf connector you can put it back on and just repair the broken lead if it is not broken off to far inside. If you need to get a new one, try a local tv repair shop to get one. should only cost 3 - 6 dollars. after fitting the connector in the hole just get a hot soldering iron and solder all around the edges. you might want to screw a cable on it before soldering it to keep the plastic from sealing the small center hole. The circuit trace on the board might be torn loose also and you will have to put a small jumper on it. Solder the shield back on and you should be back in business. Good Luck |
