| Try to start the computer with a live cd with a different operating system
i.e. knoppix or ubuntu live. The fact that you can see the logo screen does not indicate a hardware problem, except for a partly broken hard drive, since the logo is stored in the BIOS, while the rest is on the HD... By saying 'i also got up the hard drive and the problem still exist, ' do you mean you swapped the drive for another one? |

| When i turn on my laptop (Acer Travelmate 290), it start with acer logo picture and before start win xp the screen turn all white and it stuck.
The same problem exist when i tried to connect external screen also when i try to ENTER the setup bios by F2 or to load the win xp by safe mode the problem exist. i also got up the hard drive and the problem still exist, Please help me to solve the problem in a cheap way, thank you. |
