gary thank you, I've done some search and plasma's use a high voltage unit [+/-400V]. In the weekend I will take a closer look to it and do some measurements . |

| i dont repair loewe plasma tvs but i can say for absolute sure it is not the backlights drawing too much current as plasma tvs do not have backlights they are only fitted to lcd tvs, you need to look for something else | |

| This is a plasma 42 inch witch only works for +/- 1 second .
When the backlights turns on it goes back to standby mode . [It seems to me that the backlight is taking to mutch power] Is there anyone who knows how I can solve it . |
