Hello,

This are wery strage problems with the restarting thing.

For the monitor that is completly dead and want turn on, please check
the two operating 12V and 5V with the mainboard not conected to the power board.
f the power is not present check the two rectifier diodes.
If the diodes are ok ]...the most comon problem is the PWM controler.
You recognize the IC easly cause is a IC with 2*4pins.
Replacing the pwm in 80% cases it's work.

The Acer has all Solid state caps.

Capacitors are always easy and quick to check. I had a faulty medion flatscreen [blue led just flashing]. looked at the caps they were bludgy and had started oozing a little. Replaced, total uptime 1 day so far

My monitor wont turn on. Checked all of the fuses and i just cant find anything wrong.

Any luck with this problem?? I had almost exactly the same experience. Bought the monitor from tigerdirect and it failed soon after. Then it started working again no problem but now it's totally dead. I can't even crack open the case to take a look.

Does anybody have any info (schematic, service manual etc.) for the Mad Acer AL1906 monitor. I purchased this monitor from TigerDirect and it failed next day. They exchanged it without any question. The new one worked well for 30 day and failed again. No lights at all. For couple days, before it failed completely, the monitor was shutting down and rebooting for every 10-15 minutes. So, Tiger is not gonna replace the unit after 30 days and I'm looking for some documentation.
Please help if anybody has it.
