Hi,

I have a philips 28pt4457 ( chassis L01.1e ) with a very snowy picture in the highest UHF channels, those barely get color. The lower UHF channels are visible and the VHF channels are distorted with horizontal stripes.

I checked the cable with another set and all channels had a clear picture.

So I assume it is the tuner or the AGC control connected to the tuner.

did anyone encounter a faulty tuner ???
