It's best to replace/temporarily replace a suspected faulty fet with a new or known good one. Even checks with transistor checkers that are equiped to test fets are not always conclusive. However these checkers are sometimes handy for identifying lead configuration and type, and of course short or open. |

the topic says it all,
How do I check or test an FET ,"MOSFET OR JFET" using an OHMETER,if it is defective or not,
and can I determine if it is an enhanceMOSFET,a depletion MOSFET,a N type FET ,etc...from the test. |
