I have had this plasma television for approximately three years. Watching the TV this evening, all of a sudden a defect presented. At approximately 3/4 of the way across the screen from the left to the right, there is a 2 inch wide band from the top of the screen to the bottom of apparent colored "static" or "noise".

This is present no matter the input, please provide some input/guidance.
