Ken Wood died nearly 10 years ago. Have you checked the outputs for shorts and correct supply voltages? Have you traced the signal through the input of the amp? Maybe a switch is not switching properly or a contact is not contacting properly? Is there a speaker protection relay? Does it have a separate supply for R&L? Being a KenWood it most probably has a STK-XXXX device that does both input and output. Do both channels meter the same? (input and output) |

I have a kenwood amp that has one of the signals not working. The unit is out on the left bank A and B. I can hear a low moan at the speaker but it is not transfering any processed sound. The meter on the front of the amp is not registering on that bank either. I have test equipment. any help would be appreciated.
thanks
