Replace C305 (2.2uf 50V) & C342 (1uf 50V). There's one more but can't remember the location. You see a red colored cap, replace it.

I have a Toshiba television model CX2779K chassis 9012 that is having a weird problem with the picture. Everything on the tv works fine, but suddenly the picture is distorted. It’s fine at the bottom but about 2/3 of the way up the screen the image distorts and STRETCHES up, clipping the top of the image totally off and distorting the rest from the point of the stretch up. I have fixed some problems with televisions before, replacing chips and soldering so I’m not afraid to try anything! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
