| THE REMOTES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE SO NO PROBLEM THERE, THE SERVICE SETTINGS ARE UNIQUE TO EACH SET SO ANY YOU WILL HAVE TO SET THE GEOMETRY FROM SCRATCH YOURSELF. |

Thanks alot for your reply can you say if My remote is right. I have also Philips TV with a EM2E chassis 32PW8206 I think. I have tried to use that remote for the A10. but maybe the codes are not right ???. Do I need a new remote.
The TV is from the dumpster so I did not get the original remote.
By the way do you have the original values for the Service menu.

| DONT KNOW WHY YOU HAVE LOST REMOTE FUNCTION, TRY SCOPING REMOTE CODES INTO PAINTER IC, YOU NEVER KNOW THE REMOTE RECEIVER MAY HAVE FAILED, A10EP1-2.0 IS THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR OLD PAINTER IC, 2.0 REPRESENTS THE SOFTWARE VERSION AND WOULD NOT EXPLAIN THE REMOTE PROBLEM. |

Hello I have had a fault in my painterchip like all other does. I ordered a new chip stating the exact code. Before change the TV set was totally defect no remote and no picture. So I was not able to safe any aligment codes.
Now to my question. After I changed the Chip I got Picture back. Of course the geometry is not right. MY remote is still not working. I tried a normal Remote for Philips using the RC5 commands. What can my problem be.
I can se the software version in the old chip was A10EP1-1.2 and in the new one I have A10EP1-2.0 can this be the fault why I lost remote function ??
