| thank you for your info,i have already check another shorted part transistor type diode -p5nb60 pf. after i replaced it and turned on the tv and it works. |

| If you don't know enough about the tv to understand the fundamentals of the power supply, you probably shouldn't try and fix it yourself. These things can be dangerous. |

| I`m afraid to turn on again the TV after i replaced the diode bec. I knew that there was a reason why the diode got busted. |

| i have a phillips tv model29 pt8321/7r found out a shorted diode inside,any other idea what`s the reason why the diode was busted? |
