but what u mean with turn the set on? when discharge the crt capacitor the tv works for 5 minutes sometimes for 20 minutes then the picture went green the ic is pretty cool thanx |

| crt failure is very common with these sets if fitted with philips crt | |

| More than likley the crt is shorted, pull the crt board and turn the set on, see if the ic gets hot. If it dosn't the crt is bad | |

| hello,
i have a panasonic TX-32DK20F it worked fine for 3 months then the picture went green and the tv turns off after some research i discovered that the video amplifier (tda6111Q) was dead ive replaced the ic and now the television work fine fo 30 seconds and then the picture become greener and it and greener and it flashes and the television turns off i have no idea why it works 30 seconds the picture becomesgreen the video amp (tda6111Q) becomes very hot and finally the tv turns off thanx |
