| from memory out of the hundreds of this model i have come across only one have has ever gone faulty which was a flyback transformer u/s ....
i spose if that was the case with your one also data could have been lost in that way ... otherwise it's possible that either the tube base socket flashing over or CRT flashover could have caused this too in which case it may happen again ... do you have anymore info or history on this set ? |

| hmm this is very odd that the eeprom has lost data on this model
this model is very reliable and they don't normaly go wrong at all... but in any case you should be able to get a new eeprom pre-progrommed for that model quite cheaply from http://www.semenedis.com/ |

| Hi - Can anyone supply me with the eeprom data (hex or bin) for a JVC AV28R25EKS Television.
I believe its the same as used in other JVC's ie AV28R250EKS, AV32R25EKS and AV32T25EKS Regards, Malc. |
