jts1957: Thanks for posting! That is (like ESI) a very useful site. I have loads of service manuals and will see what I can upload later this week. |

Gary, I had, "HAD" the same problem with my str-de875. I opened her up and noticed that the joints on the relays were cracked. I resolder them and the music is oh so beautiful. Thanks for your help my friend! a-lo |

resolder the speaker protection relays in the set, they are prone to going dry jointed and cutting the speakers out. ry401 ry501 ry601 ry701 |

Hi people, I have an str-de875 amp which after playing it for a while, the two front speakers cut out, leaving the surround rear and centre speakers playing. Just before this happens, there is a loud click from inside the amp. Then, after no set period of time, there's another click and the front speakers return to full volume. This will happen a number of times every time i turn it on. It's very intermittent. And very annoying!!! Any ideas as to what's causing it???? |
