|
I have a problem setting up my TV (Grundig Arganto 70) and VCR.
The video (90s Goodmans model) and TV give conflicting setups in their manuals.
I live in a block of flats and have a communal aerial, with a wall socket in my flat.
If I use an RF cable from the wall socket into the VCR plus RF from VCR (as VCR manual suggests) to the TV loop aerial socket, I get only a very poor TV picture. I have a SCART lead linking TV and VCR.
If I set up as suggested in the TV manual (i.e. RF from wall socket direct to TV then another RF from TV to VCR) the VCR can't seem to get a signal.
CAN ANYONE SUGGEST A SOLUTION PLEASE?
Another curious thing is that I have to use the loop aerial socket for the TV; the main aerial socket on the TV does not work at all. Is this because I use a communal aerial?
Incidentally can the SCART be used as a substitute for RF cables as it is with a DVD player?
