I started to print out a couple of laser cd labels before I remembered I had only 1 sheet of cd label paper in the printer. Hoping that the cycle was not to far advanced, I pulled open the paper tray to put in some more as the single sheet cd paper was being pulled up into the machine.

When I opened the paper tray, the machine stopped mid-feed. I pulled out the paper tray and pulled out as much of the sheet from bottom of the feeder unit as I could. However, some of the label pelled off into the rollers.

I pulled all the visible labels off the exposed parts, but evidenlty some of it got a little farther in the rollers because when I turn it on, I get a "front cover paper jam" error message. I looked the assembly over, and it looks like only 4 screws hold the rollers down. I took them out, and the assembly will NOT release.

I downloaded your service manual, but the dis assembly procedure of that part is not too specific. It shows a screw coming in from the front but I cannot find it on mine.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Perhaps I have to clear the error message from the config menu? But I DO think there is probably some part of an adhesive label causing the error.

HELP!
