it worked the memory wire was orange on the goodmans if anyone needs to know

hi, after many years of owning vauxhalls i have learnt that he switched 12v and the constant 12v are in reverse to the order of after market stereos, simply smap this 2 wires over and job done. (most radios have bullet connecters on the iso plug loom to aid in the simple switch, if not simply cut and solder!!) jon.

It sounds like the constant 12v (memory supply) is missing. Check your
fuses, especially if other things like the interior light or cigarette lighter or
clock are also not working.

I have replaced my standard car tape player in a vauxhall astra to a goodmans cd player, the connections where the same at the back so i just connected it and put it in, but every time i start the car all the memory goes e.g the radio stations and the bass treble etc. can anyone help me please?
