| hi, after many years of owning vauxhalls i have learnt that he switched 12v and the constant 12v are in reverse to the order of after market stereos, simply smap this 2 wires over and job done. (most radios have bullet connecters on the iso plug loom to aid in the simple switch, if not simply cut and solder!!) jon. |

It sounds like the constant 12v (memory supply) is missing. Check your
fuses, especially if other things like the interior light or cigarette lighter or
clock are also not working.

| I have replaced my standard car tape player in a vauxhall astra to a goodmans cd player, the connections where the same at the back so i just connected it and put it in, but every time i start the car all the memory goes e.g the radio stations and the bass treble etc. can anyone help me please? |
