| Note that there are at least three completely different radios, from different manufacturers, that can be branded as "Ford 6000". In the instruction manual for my Ford Focus, there are three different panel layouts for this radio model shown! |

| common problem caused by condensation, take radio out of car and put in a warm place for a couple of hours, plug back in and see if digits appear. |

Had the same problem with my Focus audio7000. Somtimes the text did appear again but most of time it didn't show. Same with my cd-changer, it stopped working all of the sudden. At ford they say they discontinued the 7000 because of these sort of problems.
Replaced mine with a 6000 cd player and works perfect again, also in combination with my cd-changer.
Should go to ford and ask them to solve it... |

My Ford 6000 cd player is working fine sound wise..... The display has vanished. The green back light is working, but no radio or cd info is displayed. This just happened yesterday.... Does anyone know the cause??? Please help.
