| Hi,
I have had the same problem with my headunit of exactly the same model. I am afraid you will need to replace the display inside the facia. I am yet to do this but have been told this is common on these models. The components heat up over time and the ribbon becomes brittle. So it could be the ribbon as well. I will more than likely be offered a repaired front for 40GBP. I am also trying to source a spares for my unit from a company called seme website www.semenedis.com in Leicester a Pioneer parts reseller |

Hello friends, I am new in this forum and first of all it wanted congratulations by this forum and a warm greeting (Pardon by my English, but I am Spanish  )… And now I want to comment a failure that I have in a Pioneer KEH-P8900R and is that it works perfectly but in the single frontal the bellboys illuminate themselves and what is the screen multicolor is not illuminated (black screen and illuminated button seller)… first that I did was to change the flexible one to him that unites the plate with the frontal (since it was the main cause) but in this case it was not thus. I also request aid to you about the manual repair and about on watch one or of the scheme since not it encounter nowhere. Thanks beforehand.
