I have the same problem, resistors are good and instead of a fuse they have a diode in it's place and it is also good. Anyone have a schematic for this TV? thanks |

3443 and 3444 are resistors that should ohm out @ 1 ohm, 6444 should be a 3 amp fuse. |

Thanks for responding. So what exactly am I looking for? Is it similar to checking a PC motherboard? And if I find something, just remove and resolder new part? Any advance info would be greatly appreciated. As I said, I'm great with PC's but new to TV's.
Also, do you happen to have schematic so that I can find my way around this set? |

|
Hi,
I've got a 20" Magnavox television that was manufactured June 2004. The model # is 20MS2331/17. The problem is that when I push the power button, after a few seconds a clear picture will come on (only for about 2-3 seconds) and then nothing. This keeps happening over and over no matter how many times I turn the set on and off. Can someone please help me? Is this an easy fix? I'm great with computers but have never had to troubleshoot a tv.
Thanks very much!
scematic would be great if anyone has one! |
