i dont know crap about electronics but im good at fixing things....i just need to know if there is even any hope.

TV usualy turns off if no signal is detected.If it was struck by lightning youre tuner is dead(that litle metal box that you plug antenna in).
Please if you try to fix it be extrmley careful with power network capacirors voltage can be up to 300 volts and chatode tube(screen) under plug on top of the screen is aprox. 25 000 volts. |
