I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a Denon UD-M5 which shows no sign of life. It does have power but not to power it up. I would really like to get this sorted rather than throw it to landfill. Does anyone have any ideas for me to try or can anyone fix this for me, West London area.

Recently had one to repair that overheated. There is a fuse inside the transformer winding. Primary volts ok, no secondary volts. Managed to get at the fuse by digging then replacing fuse which was thermal 98 degrees I think. Not pretty, but it saved it from the dump. Maybe your problem is the same.
Best of luck, chris.

Man these little Denon systems are so unreliable! The CD muti-changer on mine struggles to read the disks and the thing is so tightly packed together that I can’t get it out.

It seems that each of the Denon systems has a set of things that characteristically go wrong, and most of them do.

About yours, is there maybe a fuse inside the thing somewhere?
