| You can be assured that if the machine is able to read a disc , there is no problem with the lense. Sounds like you may simply have a bad connection issue in the video circuit. It may simply be a bad connection at the jack itself.Or you may have some sort of electronic problem in video processing(rather odd for that unit)
If/when there is an issue with the lense, discs will not even be read. |

| My machine stopped playing video. (Its not the obvious case of a bad RCA cable) The audio still plays fine but no video will come out. I took it apart once and cleaned/dusted everything out and it worked for like a week maybe. Now its doing it again. Is this a case of the lens getting too old from too much use? Or could something else be causing this problem as well? any input is appreciated. thx
