the CRT might be bad, also the fly, resolder flyback,drive transf. Hot, all around the power supply,

1998 Sony KV-32s26 only used for 5 years, pictures and sounds still in good, after 15min to 2hrs shut-down suddenly, a green spot on the center of the black screen than gone, but the tv still on, must turn off than on, if turn on immediately a green screen appeared and no pictures, if turn on later for min than everything ok, but it shut-down again after min or hrs. I checked the power supply and horiz. circuits found the 9v reg. (IC641) no. 2 pin, 3.8v only 1.135v after replace this parts, tv can worked over 4 hrs, but some times it happened again, if it is considered crt short how it can identified and located the problems?
