The 3.9 ohm resistors are the bias resistors. In any rear projection they are critical. If you change the ic's you should check the surrounding resistors. |

Replace your convergence IC's. Should be STK392-040's. Or replace the sub deflection board. # AA95-01846D. |

I've got convergence problems with my Samsung model hcl4715w. Using the remote, I can get to the manual adjustment. The only color out of alignment is RED. I can move the RED vertically, but not horizontally. Does that mean that I will need a new Convergence Module?
I've read other posts that talk about a 'service mode'. Can I get to service mode and make adjustments without leaving my recliner or does it require special equipment or tools?
