| The model is RDS 5000 and not 6000. The serial number is M104239. Please let me know the code and i will try your procedure. Thanks a bunch for your help.
Do you know if the RDS 3000 is a mono or stereo, as i hear music from only one speaker although i have checked the connections. |

| TRY that and post your serial number i give you code
If you know the code and unit is at '13' press and hold button 6 for about 10 to 15 seconds and you will be allowed 1 more chance to enter code and only once, for older ford units hold select + man for 1 more try The official line is - straight from October update of FORD TIS. 1. Drivers door open - leave open. 2. Ign. ON. - Use RED key only. 3. Radio ON. 4. Press and hold presets 1, 3 and 6. 5. Ign. OFF then back ON within 1 second. 6. Release presets 1, 3 and 6. 7. Radio OFF. 8. Ign. OFF. Repeat the above the same number of times that is showing on the display when you started. i.e: 10 or 13. Please Note that this method will not work with American FIC sets. |

| I would like to know if there is a way to redeem my Ford RDS 6000 cassette player as i have exhausted all 13 attempts to enter a code. I want the code as well to redeem it. I can give the serial numbers if there is a way to redeem it other than to send it away and get it done for a price.
Also could some one tell me if the Ford RDS 3000 a mono player. I bought this off ebay and i hear music only frm the RIght speaker (nearside). Regards Arun |
