LOL.

Funny you should mention, I was hunting for my meter for 2 hours today, blaming the kids etc. Then remembered I'd lent it to a mate when he was sorting his motor out.

I'll get it back in the morning and check them.

I say that, but what would I need to compare the readings with? I gather most are different?

Obviously, finding RF801S would be handy as I know it's rated @ .47 ohm and 1 watt (check me out making out that I know what I'm talking about!). But if it's ment to be on the convergence board, I'm pretty certain mines had it on his toes LOL.

Have you taken a meter and actually checked the resistance?

I checked the top left.

I have RFZ50, RFZ53, RZ133, CZ126 & R857 in the top left. Like said, no obvious signs of burning.

Found FD101S (or 5 too small to read) but the numbers you mentioned not found anywhere on the board. (Unless we are talking about different boards (The STK392-040's are soldered to this.

When in convergence Mode on the TV though. When pressing for the presets (1,2 & 3). R & G are changing, blue stays the same.

Getting to the point where this may end up down the tip. Sad
I'm gutted I cant get it sorted now.

This is not anywhere on the convergence board. Is it located elsewhere? IE - Power Supply unit? Smile

Left top of the convergence board. Also check FD101 and FD102.

The Blue is still bowed quite a lot Sad

Sad

Changed the IC's in this one once again. But still the same issue.
Red & Green move just fine... Blue is not responding to anything now.

Is this the answer to the question?

'It adjusts so I'm not suspecting the digital convergence unit'.

Starting to pull my hair out. I know I might sound like a newbie, but all the ohm talk and measuring etc, shot straight over my head. I can see that none of the resistors look burnt out, but thinking this is going to be a long job now. Sad

I wish I just left it as it was. It was pretty great until I tried to fix teh perfect focus thing.

Read the post from start to finish. You have the same problem outlined in this post.
