I have carried out your recommendation by playing DVD through AV1 and the fault is still there. |

| Sounds like your tuner is bad. Put it on video 1, feed the dvd into it, and see if at turn on color is there. |

On switch on there is no colour and what appears to be poor quality picture. Switching on and off several times will invariably overcome the problem and bring back a perfect picture. It now switches to standby after about an hour but only when on programme 4 (Channel 4). Switch it on again and immediately switches off to standby. Switch back on to different channel and tv works fine.
