Thanks tsgunnell. I have gone thru' that. If you are familiar with the cct of this unit (no disrespect) - the ac transformer cct is not being activated 'coz there is nothing coming from the uP to activate the relay (via a switching tranny). VCC and VREF of uP is OK. Have also replaced uP and also I/O Expander ic's - still no go! The o/p from the uP that is required is identified as 'Pcont' to activate the ac cct relay, is not there ....am still crossing my fingers !

if it was partly working before replacing chip double check for solder bridges and splashes this is a situation that as happened to all of us at some time

I need help! I replaced the audio ic RSN311W64B-P due to audio output (centre out) speaker fault. I now find the unit not powering up. It is on permanent standby mode - No i/p or o/p connections ... any suggestions..?
