| Common problem with Sonys is the IF module, small metal box usually close to the tuner. Check solder connections where it connects to board, also these have been notorious for bad internal connections, you'll need to pull the module out of the main board, pop the covers, and use a small low-heat iron to go over the connections.
Other components to check for loose joints are AFT transformer T203 and delay line DL302. |

the picture only shows up after waiting for a period of time even when only changing channels but there is sound, what could be wrong im just a newbie on fixing tvs can you help me ..thanks  |
