Thanks for the tip!
Is there any online guides on how to open up the tv and find the bad solder connection?
I have never repaired a TV before, but I do have experience with soldering wires to circuit boards.
Anybody have any pictures or guides to help me out? |

|
I own a 50" Mitsubishi VS-6051 Projection TV.
A couple weeks ago, the picture started going out, but the sound would still work. The picture would zap from the outer edges inwards to the center into a rainbow spot before disappearing. If I turned the TV off and back on right away, it would be fine. It would then work okay for a couple days and do the same thing again. Now, it is at the point where the pictures zaps away withing 10 seconds of turning it off. The sound is working this entire time.
I was wondering the following things:
- why is my TV doing this?
- what parts need to be fixed or replaced?
- how much would that cost?
- where could I find these parts?
Thanks in advance for all your help! I really appreciate it! |
