| resolder the frame ic, dry joints on this will trigger the v.protection and the set will revert to standby, if that doesnt work replace c454 220nF smd capacitor in the frame circuit | |

| Hi Guys, hope you can help
I have a panasonic tx-21 ad2 TV and seem to have a problem with the unit going into standby on its own randomly. At first i though it was a remote problem but after changing batteries and even removing the remote from the room, it will still turn to standby on its own. it can do this after half hour of being on or 10 mins, i will turn it back on and then it can turn off again straight away or 10 mins after. It can do this a few times before stopping on and then it could do it again an hour later, all i have plugged in is a freeview box in the scart and nothing else, i even thought it may be the freeview remote but removed that and still get the problem, i have searched the room for any other device that could cause the issue but short of having my house exersized to rid it of mischeivous spirits, i have tried everything to try and pin point the cause of the problem. any idears ??????? many thanks in advance |
