Although it does sound terminal, Digital Board is certainly blown as is the Power Supply Board. I have spares for this unit, and could resurrect it. There are still good spares in it which I could make an offer on. Let me know, Cheers, |

its a jvc dr-mh20 sek motion action progressive scan I was blithely connecting stuff up and unplugging then from this big old sony with 3 scart plugin points i plugged in a scart already connected to the jvc and it went bang blue flash and went dead. the telly is fine. changed the fuse on the jvc but of course it was no that. thought id ask here before throwing in the bin...  |

Unusual to go bang from a SCART connector. Maybe repairable. |

| My JVc dvd recorder Hardly used and now not working at all since it went bang after i plugged the scart into the back of the telly. Anybody know if its likly to be dead good and proper. Bugger cost me £250. Bought a Humax now | |
