Well, I've got the parts & service manual on my site at http://www.justmanuals.com/product_info.php?products_id=12687 available for $10.79 and instant download but it doesn't have schematics in it.

Hi, I am looking for the schematics for a compaq nc8000 laptop.
This laptop wont boot, it was working fine but then it went to stand by and it wont start again, i can heard the fan and hard drive working, then I when i tried to restart it , the laptop flashes green lights for several seconds and then powers down, even with the power cable connected to it, the fan would run for about 5 secs and then system would shutdown., nothing loads, I do not get any error messages so i can tell what is the problem?..

Once every 5 days or more Im able to start it but after a couple of hours it will shut down, I checked the event viewer in windows but found nothing important there.
I have not installed any new soft or hardware.

I'm thinking that the voltage regulator is faulty because it happened before about 3 months ago and the symptoms were similar, the persont that repaired it told me it was a faulty voltage regulator, that is why Im looking for the schematics please.
I already have the service manual but I need to see the schematic to check the voltage regulator or something else.
I have a diploma in electronics so I think I can try to fix it myself.
Thanks
Marlaine
