There are numerous whole house surge protectors for various price ranges. There are many electric and computerized appliances and devices in our house. Our new washer has a computer brain, and it draws too many amps to plug into a wall-outlet surge protector. It even draws more than an ART 4x4 surge protector can accommodate.
We already have a lightning detector for the frequent storms.
Can someone please suggest a good value in a whole house surge protector to put on the outside power box? Our price range is limited to about $250 at most, unless there is one for more you really believe in.
