hi,

i am having a problem with our copier at work. every time i turn it on and plug in the access code, it would make warm up noises and i can hear some shifting of parts. but then the sorter starts to shake and make a sound like something is stuck. the copier will then beep and the following message comes on the screen: (paraphrased)

E340 - please turn the machine off and on again.

i have done this several times and the same thing happens again and again.

this is a recently donated machine and we have yet to use it (because of this problem). unfortunately, we don't have the manual and can't afford the service fees. (we are a small non-profit)

any advice on how to fix this would be great!
