Yes, most likely, but all these things need narrowing down in order of probability by an experienced person. If you can try another remote, & it works, then your remote is faulty- if a known good remote don,t work, then you have a problem- could be ir receiver, or further on.  |

| After a power outage my remote doesn't work. The DVD screen is frozen and can't be reset. Batteries in the remote are replaced & new. Could it be the remote sensor on the DVD recorder? | |
