Isn,t great how many posters expect an easy solution to their tv or whatever problem- can,t be done!. Find a honest repairer - someone with experience & knowledge- get quote- try others if you think con- easy repair by inexperienced owners is just not possible.  |

Hi,
I have a Sharp 36U-S50 TV, 5 yrs old this month, that won't turn on. When this first happened several months ago, I followed the manual's instructions to unplug it for 15 min. I would be able to turn it on after doing so. But the problem started occurring more often.
Now, you can hear a click and hum and then after 3-5 seconds it clicks off and does nothing (no more clicking) until it's unplugged for 15 min or more. Then it will just repeat the above. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
