| I think I've sorted it by entering into the service menu 1 8 3.
But now I have a problem with the menu's they are 'whizzing' around the screen. I'm probably going to have to fix this blind... Does anyone know the key sequence to reset the menu to stay still on the screen? Or the setting name for the menu vertical stability? |

| I reecntly bought a Samsung SP42W5HFX/XEU on eBay which has a convergence problem I believe.
Red and Green seems fine, but blue has a large half oval from top right corner to the top left corner. I've tried re-alignment using the Service Mode and tried Perfect Focus mode, but nothing changes. All I need to know really is where the Convergence chips are and what to get a replacement. I'm a pretty good solderer, but need to know what needs to be done. I've read about IC's and am not sure what they are. If anyone can shed some light or send the Service Manual, it'd be hugley appreciated. I have downloaded the manual for the similar TV SP42W4HBX but imagine it's slightly different. |
