you`ll be okay with the resistors, stay with the name brand stk`s, if R3243 measures 110K 0r 120K don`t worry about it, Larry E |

Larry, tritronicsinc on line service says they don't have the resistor's,but just today I found the resistor's at allectronics.com .The R3243 check's out ok, but I plan to exchange it anyway. tritronics had the IC's. Are all resistor's today near equal quality, I know that there are questionable IC's, some without mfg. name and price range is too great. So I am waiting on delivery of part's,then I will put it all back together and hope for the better. With your experience and help, probably everything will be ok. I will keep you posted. Thank's! |

James, www.tritronicsinc.com they will sell to you as a tech or as a consumer, good people, I`ve used them for years, did you pull R3243 and check it yet? If you have burnt resistors on the convergence board I would definitely change the stk convergence IC`s. Larry E ps; If you have any problem getting the parts email me directly at; [email protected] and I`ll help you find them but tritronics should have what you need |

Larry, I hate to keep imposing on you, but I have been unable to locate any supplier that stock's the 1 ohm 1/2 watt resistor's on the 9-1690 module that are burned(R4162,R4162). The R3243 is a 110k resister, which I have also been unable to locate. Any suggestions? Thank's |

Larry, thank's for the vendor info. I will have no problem removing and installing parts. Although I have been away from electronics for a long time, my second career was in HVAC, the Trane Centra-VAC chillers had micro-processor controls that I did maintance on for Dallas County Facilities and the buildings (60) had electronic controls, which were computer controlled. I will keep in touch, because the TV is not repaired yet. |

James, you can order parts from tritronics, just enter their name on a google search and then log on as a guest, remember your going to have to unsolder the old IC`s and resolder in the new ones, if you don`t know how to solder proficiently have a tech do it, Larry ps, replace the resistor first before ordering the stk`s |
