The front switches stick if any fluid gets into them. Primarily windex. You're telling me the volume goes down by its self. Pushing volume key turns it off. This is a tell tale that the switches are sticky. I'm not calling you an idiot I deal with this shit every day. Pull the back off and unplug the key pad. If the volume still goes down which I don't think it will, suspect a sticky remote. Pull the batteries out of the remote.
This is a every day problem with Sony and RCA. |

with the tv on the volume does not stay at any certain level, it always goes down to zero. you can try turning the volume up but the tv will turn it down automatically. Also when you push the volume - key the tv turns off. when you push the power key the tv also turns off.
can anyone tell me how to fix this problem |
