[/quote]="speaker!"] replace the 2 radial electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board. They are the big ones that are side by side. Mine were 4700 uFD, 25v, 85c.

the problem has many possible cause, but commonly, on power supply section of your amp.it may have a leak filter capacitor. or the groundings is not sufficient. |

I have this sub woofer from a surround sound system and it hums. I'm guessing its the power amp which is a LM1875T and is a 5 pin unit. Are there any bench tests I can run? Other suggestions? The sub woofer is powered by its own 120 VAC input.
