Yep, in my manual its on page 47 of 198 pages.
The text you quote is on page 30 of my manual.
Its possible that your copy is another version.

are you sure you yourself havent replied a little to quickly or do you have a diffrent manual?

PAPER FEED MECHANISM
The EPSON Stylus Pro 9000 feeds roll paper and cut-sheet paper using
friction-feed, and the sensor along the paper feed path provide all necessary
information for controlling the paper feed process.

Paper Suction Fan
The Paper Suction Fan is located behind the lower paper guide and sucks
air through the holes in the lower paper guide, pulling the paper flat/even
with the lower paper guide. This helps to keep the paper straight as it is fed through the printer and prevents ink smears. |

been having a quick look through the service manual (which can be download free from manualdirectory.co.uk) and cant find that error message, i would check for switches around the ink compartment maybe take it apart and have a look. How to dissasemble is in the service manual

hi
i have a epson stylus pro 9000 printer, and it is about 1 year that i have problem with this printer, when i power on i recieve a masage on control panel that the "ink compart open" but i am sure that the ink compart is closed, what can i do, please help me. |
